WESTCO stepped up our commitment to serve area ranchers when we entered a joint venture with CHS to purchase the old Jirdon feed mill in Morrill, Nebraska. CHS, an industry leader in animal nutrition specializing in beef production, has mills throughout the Northern half of the United States and their involvement with the industry has enabled us to bring cutting edge nutrition technology direct to the producers in our region with our outstanding service. Our feed sales specialists call directly on ranchers to help evaluate and fill their feed needs. With an investment in delivery equipment that allows us to deliver both bag product and bulk direct to ranches, WESTCO has quickly became one of the largest retailers in the CHS nutrition system of 14 feed mills. We also work closely with lick tub manufactures, which gives us another option to better serve the different needs of customers. Our staff continually strives to increase our knowledge on ways to help our customers succeed with ongoing training and personal experience. We service commercial cow/calf operators, purebred breeders, and feed lot operators, all of whom depend on us to help them make sound financial decisions to increase their profitability. |
